I originally got this as a present for a young kid, but it wasn't at all what I expected, and put it aside.  I recently picked it up to read myself and it's such a cute and fun read.  I adore Bridget Beth Collins are and have been a long time fan.  Seeing it come together in this really whimsical fairy journal was so fun.  This is probably one of my favorite books on my shelf now.  Very unique and creative.

This was a well written book and the plot was interesting. There were some parts where the dialogue was a bit cringe. And personally I didn’t think there was much romance. But overall I would read more from this author!

I don't know how I'm going to wait for the next volume.  I feel like everything is really heating up.  All of the subplots too are getting a little bit tense.  I'm gonna end up getting the whole series just to have on my shelf I'm so obsessed.

How is this such a fast read but also feeling like a slow burn?  What am I going to do when I have to wait for the next book????

Another great volume in the series.  I can't believe how long this was on my TBR for, but also I'm glad I waited until I could binge a few series at once because the wait in between would have been unbearable!

Thoroughly enjoying this series and adding in the workplace romance and age gap romance will be fun. Can’t wait to dive into vol. 3.

This has been on my list for so long and I'm so glad I finally picked it up.  I can see myself zooming through the different volumes.  I originally borrowed this from the library but I think I actually want the volumes for my library.

I don't know that I've ever taken this long to read a book, although I did put it down for months before I was ready to pick it up again.  I also read this alongside my husband and we made it a book club, so that also forced me to slow down and really take in each chapter.  This book has the potential to be incredibly healing if you go into it with an open wind, and willing to unlearn the things which have been ingrained in us in ways we don't even actively recognize on many occasions.  Overall, I think this book is a great starting point, however I don't know that the path bell hooks encourages us to create has yet to be created.  There were a few things I didn't agree with although it was more what she seemed to be implying at times rather than what she said outright, but regardless, I think everyone could benefit from reading this.

This book was much more serious that the others in the series due to the nature of Belladonna's backstory, as well as how frequently it came up during the book.  But Rusalka is wonderful, and actually the way everyone rallies around Belladonna to show her love was heartwarming.  I really can't wait for the last book in the series though.  Katee Robert is too good at teasing certain couples throughout her series, and in this one I have been teased enough about Azazel and Eve.

This was such a quick read, and I can't even imagine how beautiful the writing must have been in the original if the translation was able to take me through what felt like an emotional roller coaster at times.  There are four parts in this book alternating between mother and daughter.  The down side to the book is that the ending felt like a cliffhanger and I wanted to throw the book across the room.  I'm sure from a literary or artistic view, it's beautifully done.  From a personal view, I'm so mad lol.
