As the tears stream down my face

I literally can’t

I love them and they were never truly enemies until they were.

Spoilers Coming

I always knew Kitt would be come this way. He’s love for his father was always stronger than his morals cause he never rlly had any. All he is, is a shadow of his father. I expected nothing different. I fear the next book and what’s to come. For I sense this betrayal and numbness he feels will spread.

Pros
  • the vibes in the beginning of this book were elite
  • being in loot with Pae was amazing
  • kai and the man that he is
  • easy fantasy
  • fast read

Cons
  • even though she’s an ordinary she’s  rarely ever powerless. She’s from the slums and she’s an amazing thief, liar, and reader. yet during the first trials she’s used none of that
  • the first trial could have been so interesting but it was all sacrificed for kai and pae’s interactions which I get but it wasn’t worth it
  • the trials were boring like y r ur contestants saying they’re bored like what
  • high stakes but still so incredibly low
  • Kitt liked Pae for no reason. like at first I thought it was mindless flirting to play with his brother but no. homie wanted her and for what. however i think kai said it best with his quote “kitt loves to be loved”
  • Adina needed more screen time/page time. like she gets they and we seen them interact like twice and then boom she’s dead
  • I knew she was going to die
  • I knew Pae was going to join the revolution
  • I knew Kitt would be exactly who he is “daddy’s little boy”
  • very little fantasy for a fantasy
  • honestly the power usage was underwhelming
  • like how does blair hate pae so much but we rarely see them fight. like put the girls in booth fr. pae she have developed better was to fight pae before the third trial
  • wtf was the second trial
  • they’re rlly no battles no real action
  • the nicknames my god. like i don’t like Pae as a nickname but i had to grow used to it but A rlly that’s not even a nicknames that’s just stupid. certainly letters of the alphabet can use a letter alone as a nickname and A has never been one of them. like is this pretty little liars?
  • unnecessary skips. this book skipped so many little things that I think it need and for what. it skipped moments like badly developed book adaptation
  • the end of the book was fun
  • the middle of the book lacked so much action
  • this is just a personal think but i think the book should have ended with paedyn and not kitt
  • too easy to bring down kitt and kai’s walls
  • i’m pretty bad at predicting things but i expected everything

things im excited for
  • kai and pae’s interaction. i truly do love a good hunt
  • seing those apart of the revolution and friendships to develop from that
  • more about pae’s dad
  • kai finding out he killed her dad
  • kitt storyline - the book is leaning towards “good brother” gone evil because of evil daddy died plot. betrays he’s brother betrays the girl and hopes daddy is smiling up at him from hell plot line but it wouldn’t be the first time I underestimated a new king. however i think they’re descriptions alone and how often Pae compared his eyes his hair to the kings
  • more on the mom cause she’s truly so irrelevant in this book she’s just a name and nothing more

Every time I read a book with figure skating, pair skating, or gymnastics I’m just reminded that I need more books like it because I love them.
