This book dives into the challenges of an immigrant family as well as the struggles of families with autistic children. I work with autistic children at my job every day. I see these moms and hear their struggles. I know that they are willing to try anything, do anything. For these reasons, this book was hard for me to get through. It was raw and emotional. There was no one person you wanted to blame for the tragedy that happened at Miracle Creek. Everyone played a part. “Good things and bad- every friendship and romance formed, every accident, every illness- resulted from the conspiracy of hundreds of little things, in and of themselves inconsequential.”

LOVED this YA book. Such a quick and easy read which is my favorite- I love a book that I can not bear to put down. This story is from Pip's point of view as she chooses to follow a murder that happened a few years prior in her town (Andie) for her senior year capstone project. There was a pretty immediate written confession by Andie's boyfiend, Sal, that was found after he committed suicide. Pip dives into the case and looked at angles that the police never did. The novel is full of lists, charts, and maps which I LOVE. to see in books. Pip befriends Sal's brother, Ravi and their friendship is truly heartwarming. Throughout the book Pip leaves no stone unturned and stumbles across some dark things. The book has a great twist and ends on a high note.

Talk about psychological roller coaster. Jessica is willing to do anything for money including joining a psychology study for $500. While she answers questions about morality, the psychologist holding the study is grooming her to see if she is a good candidate for her own personal study. Dr. Shield's husband, Thomas, cheated on her in the past. She pays Jessica generously to see if her husband will be unfaithful a second time. However, Jessica and Thomas are smarter than Dr. Shield's gives them credit for. Told from alternating point of views this is a story of a mysterious suicide, dark secrets, and many unanswered questions.

Most of us live our lives on the internet but Audrey has made her whole life on Instagram and has made it available to her million followers. When she moves to DC, she reunited with a college friend, Kat, and an old college boyfriend, Nick. Between the sketchy apartment Audrey lives in and her job, she meets some odd men. When she begins to get weird messages on her Instagram, gifts at her doorstep, and someone looking in her window, Audrey and the reader are left making guesses at who the stalker could be. This book is well written and each character has true depth. Keeps you guessing until the very end!

Another 5 star book by Lucy Foley! Through many points of view, you think you know the whole story through her books- but you never do. The way this author wraps up a book is insane.

A picture perfect couple has their wedding on a remote, and possibly haunted, island in Ireland. Rowdy friends, distanced family members, and awkward plus ones make for an interesting and dangerous wedding. There is a murder and not only do you have to guess who- you have to guess why.
