This is a cute story but I didn’t love that it was told in third person POV.

The story has good plot and was mostly enjoyable. Narration was really good.

A non bionary rep was nice to see and there was lots of spice.

LOVED IT!!!

Age gap
Workplace
Friends to lovers

DUET narration - Aiden Snow & Mollie Stark
Loved the narration and the story!

This is the first in the series and follows Lily and Owen.

Lily is Owen’s brothers ex girlfriend and his new assistant as he tries to navigate the sale of his families lumber business.

Lily is younger and trying to save up to move to NYC for college and to live with her best friends.
Owen is older and only back in town for the sale of his family’s business.

I loved that they developed a friendship and mutual respect for each other before becoming more.
I can not wait for the rest of this series to be in audio!

Small Town
Single mom/dad
Cop x Nurse
Romantic suspense (murder mystery vibes)
Found family

Dual Narration - Gregory Salines & Jill Smith
The narration was really good. I enjoyed these two voices.

Vivian and her son Mateo are kind of on the run, in hiding looking for a new start. Her ex husband is a dirty cop and she wants to be as far away from him as she can afford.

Everett is a police officer who had a son of his own and is a bit prickly. He is trying to solve a few local murders.

These two are instantly attracted to each other but Vivian is fighting it because of her ex husband being a cop and her experience with him. Everett had this urge to protect Vivian and Mateo at any cost.

I enjoyed their story mystery mixed with the romance in this story. Over all it was a good listen.

This is book 4 in the top shelf romance series

Best friends to lovers
Ex wife’s step sister
Mutual pining
Romcom vibes
Dual narration

This story is Jason and Charlottes story.

Jason was married to Charlottes step sister. They are divorced now and Charlotte and Jason are great friends who spend a lot of time together.

Charlotte has had a crush on Jason for a long time but feels she can’t act on it due to him having been married to her step sister.

The story is both emotional and funny. These two characters have a lot to learn throughout this book and I enjoyed their story. I really like the narrators for this one.

I enjoyed this story. It was spicy and a fun listen. I enjoyed the narrators.
I feel it could have used a little more plot development in a few spots but nothing that completely ruined the story I was able to keep listening and enjoying. Lots of laughs.

This is book two in the love at all cost series. It follows Ben and Layla.

Brothers best friend
Firefighter x Nurse
Marriage pact

Dual Narration

This story is about Cass a nurse and Travis a firefighter and Cass’s brothers best friend. They are flirty and both like the other but are too scared to tell each other. Travis is also worried about upsetting his best friend.

After one “platonic” *wink wink* night together they make a 10 yr marriage pact… but by the time Travis is ready to propose and claim her for that pact, Cass is dating someone who proposes to her. Now can Travis convince Cass that he is who she wants and who she belongs with?

I enjoyed this book. The narration was done well. It was a quick cute listen.

Aleks and Mia’s story was so good!

Aleks is a pro hockey player who is known for being a playboy, a bad boy. His career might be in trouble due to this reputation.

Mia is a pop star with a new album coming out soon and a controlling gaslighting ex.

When Mia gets a bad review her publicist comes up with a fake dating plan to boost her up and also help Aleks.
Mia and Aleks grew up as teenagers together when he came to live with her family from another country. They both have crush’s but never tell the other.

When they finally give in it is 🥵!
A fabulous hockey romance that I couldn’t get enough of! There is a preview of the next book at the end and OMG I can’t wait!

Book #4 love and hockey series
(Interconnected standalones)

Duet narration- Samantha Brentwood & Jason Clarke
Narration done so well. Samantha and Jason are amazing together. Giving beautiful life to the characters. You can truly feel the emotions.

Miles is a hot hockey player for the Seahawks. He’s single and has been for a while. His family hinting about dating. He is patient and kind, protective and attentive. Oh so hot.

Leighton is a photographer and the Seahawks coaches daughter. She is trying to make her way on her own without assistance.

Their meet cute happens at Miles grandmas coffee shop. He’s helping his grandma with some things and runs into Leighton. Missed connection turns into him helping her with a photo shoot.

I absolutely love this series, and this book is a fabulous additional to the series.
If Lauren Blakely writes it I will read/listen to it. This is lighthearted and fun with spice. I already can’t wait for the next book.
