I listened to this on audio and was so frustrated every time I had to stop. I just wanted to listen to all 16 hours in one sitting. I had no idea which way the story was going and it kept me guessing until the end. Karin Slaughter is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors and I can’t wait to read more from her.

This was good. I feel like reading ACOTAR first gave me really high expectations but I am keeping in mind that this is the author’s first book and she began writing it when she was a teenager. I do still plan on reading the rest of the series.

Overall not a bad story. There were parts/scenes that I questioned but I just had to keep reminding myself that it is YA. Perhaps this one was just too YA for me.

I couldn’t really get into the physical copy when I tried reading it, so I ended up listening to it on audio. The writing was alright and the characters were somewhat interesting. Nothing really exciting about it. Just an average read for me.

Frieda McFadden never disappoints but this might be my favorite of hers so far. I was a little disappointed at first because I thought I knew what the twist was going to be very early on, but I ended up being so wrong. I love how her books are so fast paced and easy to read. I get through them so fast which makes me want to just keep reading more of hers. Definitely one of my favorite authors!

Emily Henry is the perfect author to read while on a beach vacation. I have loved all of her books so far and this one was no exception.
