I liked the beginning but as the book progressed I found myself enjoying the story less and less. The characters made some frustrating choices and the third pov probably didn't help in understanding or connecting with them more.
There's also something about reading spicy scenes in third pov that makes me uncomfortable. I feel like I'm spying on them.
The writing was not phenomenal either in my opinion.
I wouldn't recommend. :(

Did not finish book. Stopped at 15%.

I wasn't a fan of the writing. I was bored and not motivated at all to pick it up again.

I wanted to DNF during almost the entire first half of the book buty the second half I was more invested in the story and attached to most of the characters (Tova, Ethan, Marcellus).
My main issue is Cameron. His attitude was extremely annoying. He's over 30 years old but acts like a teenager. I saw someone in their review called him a freaking spoiled manbaby and that's exactly what I think too. Thankfully, his attitude did improved by the end of the book but I took some time to get there...
It would have been amazing if we had gotten more from Marcellus. His chapters were great but not long enough. :(

I really enjoyed this. ♡ Having started this series with The Assasin's Blade, that definitely made me love Throne of Glass even more because I understand Celaena better. I know about her past with Sam, the whole story with Arobynn and why she ended up as a slave in the first place. I think I would have been kind of lost if I had started the series with Throne of Glass.
I can't wait to see what happens next!

Obviously, this book is not a literary masterpiece, but it’s exactly what I’m looking for when I’m in the mood for a spicy read. The spice is definitely there (!!!) and it's good. The humor is immaculate. I couldn't stop reading. I read the entire thing in less than 24 hours.
The only thing I didn’t like was that Rue spent the entire time doing it behind her friend’s back and lying to her. It just didn’t sit right with me. ☹️

I don't want to spoil anything, but we can probably all agree that Arobynn can go f*ck himself. 😌 Onto throne of glass now... I'm intrigued to see what happens next!

This book is goood. The banter between Ethan and Maggie is amazing. I loved the writing and highlighted many times. The holiday and mystery vibes are fantastic. The twists kept me hooked and guessing.
There were only one or two moments that felt a bit too cringe and threw me off slightly, but otherwise, I think this is the perfect mystery romance for the holidays!
