This was such a soul shattering story, but with an ending worthy of the mc. I legit cried throughout this entire one shot.
Raise your hand if you have been a victim of Catherine Cowles ✋✋✋
I am DISTRAUGHT. I thought I was so smart and knew the baddie in this book and I was so wrong and so mad about it. 😂
But, I absolutely LOVED this book. It kept me on my toes with the guesswork. And I also loved the love story, Anson and Rho are perfect in every single way.
The way I was even guessing what siblings will star in future books and what their stories might be. I need to know it all, I love this family. Hate their circumstances, but I love that they all found each other and built their own community. 💕
If Cat writes it, I will absolutely read it. Period.

Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. 0 flaws. The absolute best enemies to lovers duology. I am obsessed and Rune and Gideon are major goals. 🥰
Yeah, this is almost exactly like Solo Leveling lol. The same premise anyway. But that’s okay, it works and there are still many differences as well. This volume was entertaining, a lot of world building and a few new characters introduced. The pacing was a little overly quick, but I’m still enjoying it. On to the next.
Rebecca, who tf hurt you to make you act like this?
5/5, no notes, no spoilers, just trauma.

If you’re looking for something to read after solo leveling, this is the one.
Major solo leveling vibes, but in a more medieval time period. I am loving it so far. It is a fun and fast paced read and the art is amazing. I randomly picked this up at a Half price books, and I am so happy I did, def starting volume 2 today.

What made me abandon my TBR and start this book immediately? They marketed it as “Bridgerton meets The Cruel Prince.” Bestie, say less. I picked it up so fast.
Did it meet expectations? It EXCEEDED them. It had definite Bridgerton vibes: the time period, the characterizations, the courting period, the royal line. All magnificent.
And it definitely had TCP vibes. The Fae, the secrets, the plotting, the headstrong FMC. Absolutely delicious.
But it was also unique. It put a twist on the current fae trend and the plot was ever twisting and turning. I was enthralled by every single word. I ate this book up and I need more immediately. 😍

Kiyoshi and Yuichi 😭💕🩷🥰😍
Mainly a recap of the entire series, except for Tsuge’s part. But I loved it, it was a nice little reminder of how far they have come and where it all started. 😍
