this is a cinderalla retelling in a high fae setting! raewyn is such a strong FMC and stellon is so DOWN BAD. no spice but sooo much tension. the cliffhanger had me on the verge of tears and i sense a possible love triangle on the rise??? great buildup for another book. the heroes were loveable, the villains were hateable, and the magic system is intriguing. i personally felt there were a few plot holes and wish we got more of mareth but overall a quick and good read!

the spice was perfect and actually added to the plot. reznyk is such a great mmc (i fell in love with him the moment he was talking to his pet cat in his first chapter). mira is so strong but not the typical fantasy fmc. their banter is perfect and made me laugh out loud more than once!

would've loved to see more development of the side characters and overall magical system but there are more books coming so i'm hopeful!
