I enjoyed this well enough, but I didn't understand what was happening for like 60% of the book. It probably warrants a re-read, probably as a physical book rather than audio.

This book is beautifully written, very prosey. It's almost like a Hozier song in book form. That said, it is the most boring, pretentious, nonsensical book I've ever read. The only reason I finished it is because it's so short and, even still, it was way too long. I've heard so many good things about it so I know that it's a book for someone, but it's decidedly not for me.
