I liked this!
I'm all for drama and scandal and more drama. This was a fairly quick read for me. This was a great palate cleanser between the normally darker and spicier books I read.

I need to preface this review by stating that I love erotic horror. The ultra taboo content of most erotic horror is why I like it so much.

I just did not care much for this. I wanted it to be slightly longer, and I wanted more of everything. I know he's a sociopath/psychopath. I understand that, but the entire book was so utterly lacking in emotion. I had really high hopes for this because I've read Audrey's other erotic horror book, and it was absolutely phenomenonal. This one fell incredibly below my expectations.

I wanted more of the story; not because I loved it so much that I just wanted to keep reading, but because it was bland and flat. The plot twist was decent, but even the reveal just fell pretty flat.

The story of someone in royalty falling in love with a "regular person" is a tale as old as time, and yet this book still feels like something new and fresh, a story that I haven't heard before.
I felt so deeply for Alex's confusion in the beginning while he was still discovering himself. Henry's anxiousness is something that's incredibly easy to relate to. The feeling of being unable to be who you truly are and being told your whole life who you're supposed to be is another thing that's incredibly easy to understand.

I often found myself smiling at how incredibly sweet the things they'd say to each other were. It's very low spice and very high sweet romance. This was such a nice, happy book to read. I highly recommend if you're on the search for pure romance.

I loved this book more than the first one. Rhys and Feyre are so perfect. I waited too long to write this review so now I have no idea what else to say other than I can't wait to read the rest of this series. It's too perfect.

This was a fun, entertaining read. It's funny, sweet, and some semi-decent spice. This was a good little palette cleanser to read in between some darker and more heavy stuff.

This was such a great book. I can’t believe I put this series off for so long.
The vibe I get from this book mostly feels like the world building book to set the stage for the rest of the series, but it was done so well that it didn't really feel like world building at all.

I'm definitely excited to move on to the next one.

This one takes a bit to get into. The main character starts off feeling quite whiny and unlikeable. Once the story picks up, it's a quick read. You always read about haunted houses, hospitals, and schools, but a haunted department store is much less common.
It's a good story, but the ending leaves much to be desired. The end left me wanting more, and not in a good way. I felt this should have been a bit longer to really give it the ending it deserved. It feels very rushed.
I liked this one a lot, but the ending dropped my rating down.
