Did not finish book.
I just don't like a duel timeline. So I stopped when the third or fourth chapter was labeled before. Just not interested.

I didn't like this one. It just didn't give me those exquisite angsty feelings that Cassandra Clare usually gives me.

I'm bumping this up a star because even though I didn't like it, something kept me coming back. Probably the main male character. Usually if there's only one character I like I would dnf, but I just really liked Kel.

This was a really easy and fast read. It wasn't all that great though.

Two Tickets : A Holiday Hockey RomCom by A. J. Manney, A. J. Manney

Did not finish book. Stopped at 65%.
This book is neither rom nor com.

Typically you do have to suspend your belief in romcoms which is exactly what I did concerning the kid.

However all that hockey stuff was just way over the top. The main female character was such a pushover. And why? Why did she think she had to go along with all that nonsense?

And the main male character, where was he?  Because it certainly wasn't the first 60% of the book! Can you even call if there is no interaction between the "love interest" for more than half the book?

This was supposed to be a grumpy/sunshine trope, but the grump was really just plain mean and the sunshine was just polite.

I didn't care for this one much. It kind of felt like 3 different stories mushed together that never really meshed. And honestly I'm not sure if I didn't understand the end or if it was totally underwhelming.
