This book is a bit of a roller coaster. Parts one and three are outstanding but part two almost ruined the whole thing for me. That said part three is such an amazing payoff I couldn’t not give it a 5 star rating. If they do a phase four for the high republic please continue Madra’s story

It started off as a very intriguing political thriller that became less and less interesting as it went on sadly

If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. One of the best old republic era books of all time
