Star Wars: Darth Vader - Dark Lord of the Sith, Vol. 1: Imperial Machine
Charles Soule, Giuseppe Camuncoli
Immediately loved this more than anything in the previous Vader series. A raw, rage filled monster goes on a quest for his new weapon. Cool new lore and amazing art makes this an essential addition into the history of Darth Vader.
Star Wars: Darth Vader - Dark Lord of the Sith, Vol. 2: Legacy's End
Charles Soule, Giuseppe Camuncoli
Charles Soule has such a great hold on this series. And the art continues to make Vader, and especially the Emperor, terrifying. And poor Jocasta, we hardly Nu ya.
(Read on Marvel Unlimited) It is absolutely incredible to go back to the beginning of this character and see how much of what made him iconic is there from the very beginning. A teenager balancing money, love, and crime fighting in New York is established right from the start. Lee gives Spider-Man the witty quips we've come to expect, while Ditko's art is fundamental in showing how these great characters move and interact. So many classic side characters and villains are introduced in this run, and we even get a couple almost sightings of a certain Mary Jane Watson.
The depiction of the females in this book definitely feel like the 60's though, with all the women being suddenly attracted to Peter and Aunt May going in and out of the hospital and not much else. The Silver Age of Comics will always suffer from being at least a little problematic due to the time it was created, but there's actually less of that in these Spider-Man issues than I expected. I will definitely be continuing on with these early issues and see what John Romita offers with the art.

I was surprised this actually got as dark as it did. These issues focus more on the world of Sabrina rather than her character, which could have been a problem if this world wasn't so interesting. I can't wait to see how the show depicts this teenage witch as well.
Another origin but Edward is a fascinating bastard.
The most action and agency Sabrina is given yet, so of course the series is stalled out. Will it continue at all or are we just getting the TV show instead?
4.5 - More classic stories with this great character that are all drawn fantastically. But two character depictions really got on my nerves. There's Aunt May getting hospitalized every 5 or so issues just to make Peter feel guilty about not being around. And then there's the almost incomprehensible 60's slang spitting Mary Jane Watson who seems down right sociopathic in her lack of actual personality.
