Capitalism and Freedom: Fortieth Anniversary Edition by Milton Friedman
3.0
On some topics, Friedman is GREAT. Unfortunately, on other topics, e.g., neighborhood effects and monetary policy, he's hopelessly inconsistent. It's a nice book, but if it was the first "libertarian" book I'd read, it would have left me with more questions than answers.
Left, Right & the Prospects for Liberty by Murray N. Rothbard

If you still think that libertarianism is just a faction of the conservative movement, you need to read this book.
