This book was so creative and so well written. I loved reading this one. The movement from present to past in each chapter was beautiful and the whole book, ironically, painted a beautiful picture of the lives of these people in 2015. So good. Definitely recommend.

A very good book in my opinion, it is just a lot to take in. A lot happening in 2 different characters perspectives so a lot to keep track of when you're reading. Hard to put down and come back to because you'll forget what all happened if you're not careful lol.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS ONE. This one is in my top 10 for sure. It's hard to read because it is a WWII book and so it doesn't really shy away from telling what happened to these people during the war, but I love those kinds of novels and so this was a great new perspective for me. Very very very good.

A good read, keeps you on your toes. Just didn't love the ending all that much. Shows the result of the broken families and hopelessness after WWII but just didn't do it for me as far as a phenomenal book goes. I'm a sucker for happy endings and this just didn't really have that (as I expected it necessarily. It's technically still a good ending).

Really enjoyed this one. A world War novel (reflects on both wars) that just ties 2 stories together really well. A really good read. Totally recommend.

Really enjoyed this one. Was mad at the movie because they changed so many crucial details. But the book was really really good I thought. The format was really clever as it just communicated the story through the letters sent. And you still were able to get to know each character so well.

This book was so good. Emotional and real and a true educational story about the women at this camp. It's really moving and heartbreaking and inspiring all at the same time. I really loved it.

Hated the ending, but that's also why they made it a series :)

Very good. Brings better closure than the first book did for sure. A little bit more of a stretch I feel like but it was very very good.
