Never scary, but often deeply unsettling, this is a book that so pushes the boundaries of what a haunted house story can be that no one has attempted a haunted house story like it since. It won’t be for everyone. It’s just that weird. But within these pages is a story of cosmic horror unlike anything I’ve ever read.
