Fast-paced time travel with multiple story lines that intersect. I love all of those elements, they worked so well in this story for me!
One extra element for me is that I listened to this book the week of Aug 20, 2025 - the same week that the memory collectors return to. That was interesting to think about.

This audiobook reminded me of "Daisy Jones and the Six" a full cast of narrators and the story is told from various perspectives throughout the book. I really enjoyed it.

I loved this book. It had a similar vibe to "The Leavers" though it's a much different story. This is recent historical fiction with some magical realism. It follows the life of a young woman as she grows up between Puerto Rico and North Jersey. Strong family drama. I loved it.

This book is not full of beautiful prose and imagery but it is authentic, honest and insightful which is exactly what I hope for in a memoir. I'm impressed Melanie C's reflections and vulnerability.
Growing up I was always called a tomboy so of course Sporty Spice became "my Spice Girl". I'm glad she shared this book with works so I could reaffirm my choice. Impressive woman - all the more for what she fought through to get where she is today.
