I was lucky enough to receive the ARC of On a Flight to Sydney and let me tell you, this book will forever have a place in my heart and I will recommend this book 10x a day if given the opportunity.

Wes and Joss were absolute perfection. I adored the switch back and forth between characters with each chapter as well as the slow burn romance.

I absolutely loved how the characters had such realistic stories and pasts. The story was relatable and touched my heart in all the best ways. I cried, I laughed, and I felt their feelings.

The main characters were precious and the side characters will have you anxious to read more! How was this a debut novel?! This is a must read and I cannot wait until the next one

Penn Cole. What kind of sorcery are your books!? They have such a hold on me. I pretend like I don’t have responsibilities and a life when I have your books in my hand. And that epilogue

This book had me cracking up, kicking my feet, and continuously saying to myself, “Oh my gosh, what next?” I absolutely loved the main character, Zoe. She was hilarious! If you enjoy a fast paced, action packed, and good grumpy sunshine trope, this is one to add to your TBR. I’m also a sucker for dual POV so that earned this book another star. This is a good book if you just need a good laugh!

Can I give this book ♾️ ♾️ ♾️ stars!? I think this is the first fantasy that I was sucked in from the very first page. The writing is perfection and paints the most amazing pictures in my mind. Diem is strong, hilarious, brave, ambitious, and has drive like no other. Her relationship with her brother Teller is precious. Diem’s slow burn romance kept me turning pages but even more, made me pick the 2nd book up immediately. I can’t forget, the dragons and the magic! Together, this book is the chefs kiss

Powerless & Powerful. I am writing the review as one because I did a tandem read. This was my first tandem and I absolutely loved it. It just felt like it was one book, jumping among four characters. Lauren Roberts writing in these two novels was so captivating. The words put instant pictures in my mind and I can so see this being a movie one day. I cried, I laughed out loud, I was on the edge of my seat. I absolutely adored Paedyn. She’s strong, courageous, never backs down, and an all around badass! I couldn’t put it down. These will be at the top of my list for 2024 reads. I highly suggest the tandem if you haven’t read these two gems.
