I loved this book. Both main characters were so fall in lovable and I realized how much I loved fantasy/historical fiction queers. Gives mildly Six of Crows vibes and the time period was fun.

Same as the first book but I loved Brendon from this pov instead of his sister’s. Less compelling main character but Brendon and the extension of Darcy and Elle’s story line was great

At this point I’ve read the full series and while I think the books follow a very predictable similar formula I very much enjoyed them all. I hate capricorns but I can make an exception for Darcy and I love Elle so much
