Slow burn. like really. it’s a short book but somehow it’s SOOO long 😩 i didn’t liked him 100% that’s for sure, but she was a huge character, honestly one of the best ones i’ve read about in a long time, she’s so strong as a woman and has her goal set up in her mind, doing everything it takes to be as happy as she could really be.

The plot was EVERYTHING. it got me addicted to the story, i finished it in like 5 hours. i haven’t connected with characters quite like these ones in a very long time tbh. the whole “living a structured life and then suddenly breaking free” thing? i felt so connected to that, like in my soul fr. i guess i just kinda saw ghosts of myself and my past in this beautiful history, happy to say that at the end i followed my happiness like the FMC. this one is a 100% recommended for me

This whole book got me like this: 🥹 the whole fcking time!!! i mean.. Jack is soooo freaking cute, and funny, and charming, and so perfect that honestly i just couldn’t help myself from falling so easily in love with him. and Hallie is such a funny, and interesting, and likable character that you just end up head over heels for her too. this whole thing was a blast to read

Okaay so we’re doing this.. first of all, Lucy acted like a 5 year old and for god’s sake she was a mother!! i cringed about her a lot of times. on the other hand, Cooper was a good character most of the time but it didn’t saved the book itself, honestly was a waste of reading for me, could have been better

I absolutely LOVED Dr. Pritchard 😂 wish i had a therapist like her. okay, so.. this story is so emotional and kinda beautiful in it’s on way, it takes unfortunate events and death and grief into something so UGGHH i can’t even talk about it, it’s beautiful honestly, it portrays the pain so well and…. i just loved it, not enough to give it a higher rate tho, there’s some things i didn’t kinda connected with but it was mostly a good read
Better Than the Movies by Lynn Painter

I would honestly not be able to shut up about this one. just amazing, and beautiful, and so heart touching. it just takes me back to my childhood tbh, my teenage life and all i thought i knew about love back then, i practically saw the world like Liz and dreamed everyday over finding an epic love, falling truly in love with my soulmate and all of that shit. then you grew up and get to experience the real LIFE deal and it’s just not always as nice as movies and books taught us, and finding love isn’t just as easy as it seamed back then. but it’s okay because like this story, and the books and the movies we watched growing up, we are living our own beautiful and unique story, written by ourselves just the way we want to as the days goes by. but well, i cannot shut up about this one as i said, i just loved it

it had potential, but i really didn’t liked Pippa at all, i didn’t empathize with her nor even connected with her at any point. jess wasn’t the greatest character of all time either so he couldn’t really save the read for me

This woman really know how to write small town books 🥹 i am IN LOVE with this one.
the characters?? please!! such a big connection between them. william is the definition of a perfect communicative male character, for god’s sake.. the guy opening up to her and trusting her so quickly?? not doubting about telling her pretty much everything about himself even with his traumatic history? i really am in love with this type of male characters. annie it’s such a strong character as well, the way she stands up for herself as soon as she catches a little bit of confidence? masterpiece. well done with this book, lovely 😘🤌🏻
