What can I say? I love Drew and what she stands for. This is a great first book of hers and it made me laugh, made me cry, and made me hopeful for many reasons.

Was confused for a bit during this book. The writing is mediocre, the spice was very good though I will admit that. Didn’t see the twist of an ending coming until a bit before it was revealed. Interesting, sad depressing story though!

Again, only read this book if you’re into dark mafia type romances with spice. Read your trigger warnings for this book too. But damn, not that I’d want a real life mafia guy but the thought of how possessive and obsessed and protective they are is so nice to imagine lmao. I do love that this series is all plus size women Main characters.

Spice and banter were great. I did not realize this was a pregnancy trope going into the book, and I strongly dislike pregnancy related anything in romance novels. But I kept reading nonetheless because I do like the characters.
