Ok so after watching Twisters I needed another cowboy romance and this was one that hit the spot. Very protective cowboy. City girl running from an abusive ex. Spicy. All around great.

What a wonderful book by an Indigenous ecologist. If you loved Braiding Sweetgrass, then I think you will also love this book. Similar but different vibes. Just read or listen to it. Well worth it. Lots of great Indigenous wisdom is in here especially when it comes to ecology and plants.

Well, this book was unexpectedly good. Went in blind and was pleasantly surprised.

A slow burn frenemies to lovers vibes with a decent plot and a smidge of spice that’s closer to fade to black then spicy spice.

Lost .25 of a point because Calla really annoyed me in the beginning of this book.

Also got so heart wrenching too. I cried. 😭

A classic friends to lovers romance with some decent plot mixed in with the spicy times. This book even made me cry a little bit!

If you want a religious and smutty book. This one is for you. Priest gets down with a woman who comes into his church. Things happen. Not a lot of plot per se but lots of spice and the spice was goooood lol. Will be reading the rest of the series for sure.

A lot a lot of information in this book and a great summary of the historic events in Palestine from the early 1900s and up until 2017. A great digestible book if you are wanting to learn more about the history of the Israeli occupation.
