This book is what you would expect for a smutty urban fantasy vampire romance. I quite liked it, and it was just what I needed. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series!

What a great novella! So much happened in under 200 pages, turns out I definitely do like urban fantasy settings. I’m really hoping there’s more to this story eventually.

The way John writes is so fantastic. How he weaves this true story together to inform you about numerous things is so skillful. Learn about the golden spruce, the Haida, logging in western Canada/PNW and numerous other things and see how everything’s all connected somehow.

ART and Murderbot banter and bickering is my favourite. So good. This series is top tier tbh.

A very cute, but sized book about trees, the inner workings of them, how they are important and all of those fun things. Even learned some new stuff too. If you like trees, I recommend a listen or read.

I love this series tbh. This book was quick, like most of the series but packed with mystery, and action. They must solve a murder and at the end I didn’t see it coming as to who the murderer was. So good!

I seriously love this series. Love ART and Murderbot. You can’t go wrong with this space opera. The character growth Nurderbot has had is awesome.

A great bite sized book on the intersectionality of environmentalism and how so many things are connected with colonialism, racism, and white supremacy in the western world. A must read or listen for my fellow white folks especially. The first step in dismantling these systems of oppression is education, and listening to the voices of those most affected.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 12%.
I just couldn’t get into this book. The never ending descriptions of the halls, all being the same. Boring to me. This might be a great book for a certain audience, but that audience I don’t think is me.

Really liked this book. Daphne was relatable in some ways but at times she frustrated me a bit lol! Miles sounds like good bf material. All around a classic Emily Henry romcom with a bit more spice/horniness which I am not upset about.
