This book was a mix of sweet and spicy.

After reading Match Point (which I gave 3⭐️) last year, I decided to give Katherine Reilly another chance with Ride The Wave and I’m glad I did. While it was slow at points, I still really enjoyed it and actually wanted to keep turning the page. I really like a sports romance i’m not used to reading so it was good to read about surfing and loved the connection between Leo and Iris. The romance was *chefs kiss*.
This book is the perfect summer romance.

Well-written.

This book had me hooked straight away. The switching lives/becoming someone else trope can be a hit or miss, but Liang wrote it so well that I couldn’t help but keep turning the page. I am intrigued to find out what happens to things that were resolved but also unresolved, but that’s because I’m curious more than anything. This book is fast paced, written so beautifully and heavily engaging. Definitely one I’d recommend!

This book had an interesting premise and I was quite intrigued and pulled in from the get go. But I felt like I wanted more from it.

This book met my expectations and more!

I did the right thing by reading this series.

I really enjoyed this one. There were some things on here I already knew about because it comes up when I teach human remains in ancient history, but I just got really excited to see them there. I found each person in history that are involved in tattooing in some way beyond interesting and I went overboard on the annotations.

Love this book, but it made me really hungry.
