dark harvest was a fun halloween novella that took me just a couple of hours to finish on a saturday afternoon. it definitely could be marketed as YA as i would consider it “pg-13”. overall i can see myself picking this up again in the fall. (i also think it has a lot of potential for a screen adaptation. i can see the movie having “scary stories to tell in the dark” vibes.)

HOWEVER.

i’m dying to know if it’s somehow just my copy of the book, but early on there is a blatant misuse of the correct “there/their/they’re” and i almost threw the whole book away. anyone else who read this know what i’m talking about ?!?
