Stardust by Neil Gaiman

Very cute, whimsical read. It is in the same vein of Chronicles of Narnia and Princess Bride. Very sweet descriptions, and such cute magical/fantasy world. I think I would have enjoyed this when I was in middle school. Glad I gave Neil Gaiman a read!
Ask Again, Yes by Mary Beth Keane

ALL THE FEELS. this book reached my soul. The author did a BEAUTIFUL job portraying mental illness and how it can affect family dynamics. I really felt like I had journeyed with these characters. You see them overcome so much and go through all of the emotions. I found myself relating to these characters so much as well. WONDERFUL NOVEL!!! would recommend to anyone who enjoys a deep dive into some family drama and reflection FIVE FREAKING STARS!!!
Mrs. Everything by Jennifer Weiner

3.5 stars. This book had an outstanding message regarding the fluidity of feminism (and how amazing and strong women are!!!). Weiner brought in many different situations women have faced and continue to face throughout our societies history that I feel many can relate to at least one or two. I thought the theme of this book definitely overpowered the page-to-page of the novel. I found it to be a very slow read, and I wished the plot propelled a bit more. Overall, I would completely recommend this to every woman AND MAN! Very important! Can't wait to discuss this!

3⭐️ SUPER QUICK READ. Interesting story incorporating psychology, therapy, and mental illness. Good twist at the end, but not the best thriller I have ever read. Quite interesting though for one who is interested in psychology.

3⭐️ - rounded up. WOW. I am so uncomfortable right now!! I loved how this book was written. The points of view and the way the story lines intertwined were fantastic. I could not put this down. I felt so much hate as I read this (which I hated) but the fact that the author could evoke this from me was pretty amazing. This book is super dark and twisted. If you are looking for a great thriller that you can’t put down, look no further.
Changed my rating the more I thought about it. Definitely not as memorable as I thought it would be.

finally finished this book. Wayyyy to slow for me. I was getting lost in the plot and the characters so much. Honestly, I can’t believe I finished it. I almost DNF’d around p200. Maybe this book just wasn’t for me/wasn’t the right time to read it.

As someone who has been through loss, I thought this was a very accurate depiction of grief, emotional trauma, and the way we muddle through it. This book was difficult to get through, but is not meant to be an easy read. There are some great quotes in here about grief and loss that I totally stand behind as well. This book was just too heavy for me at this time, but I did really appreciate it.
