I have waited so long for this book. After icebreaker being one of my favourite reads of the year if not ever, I couldn't contain my excitement for this one.
All I have to say is I LOVE THIS BOOK.
I love Russ and Aurora so much. #couplegoals by the end. He was so sweet and romantic (even though I yelled at him a few times). The building of his confidence and the development of Russ was divine. Aurora also had her flaws but was definitely the perfect match for Russ. I loved the summer camp setting and it still had a touch of hockey to keep me happy. There was some new friends who became the found family as well as all the cast from Icebreaker. I just fell in love from the start. Hannah is now an auto buy for me.

After finishing book 1 in tears, I really hoped that Blake and Farrah would get their happy ending.....

This book was a huge roller-coaster of will they/won't they. I fell even more in love with the main characters and the circle of friends. I loved the spice and the banter between Farrah and Blake. They didn't have it easy, and their were secrets and hostility along the way. There were times when I just wanted to shake them both. Blake won me over even more, and gosh, I loved seeing his character  development.  I feel we do t always get huge amounts of character development in romance novels. However, Blake has come so far, and  I couldn't love him anymore.

I loved the role of the found family in the friendship group and how they help build on the plot and character development.

Am very excited to see what comes of book 3.

He’s never been anyone’s knight in shining armour, but when Benedict finds Rosanna in need of rescue, he can’t help but step in. It’s no fun finding out your boyfriend is cheating. And when he works for your father, well, it’s complicated. Throw in a bit of blackmail and it’s lucky Ben is around to help. But the last thing I need is a teeny-tiny crush on my rescuer. Benedict I knew the minute I laid eyes on Rosanna she was the one for me. I also knew there was something fishy about her boyfriend. I’m happy to help her kick him to the curb. And not because I want her for myself. Honest. It’s the right thing to do. If Rosanna’s not careful she could find herself caught up in a marriage of convenience with her controlling ex-boyfriend. Ben can’t let that happen, even if it means coming clean to his family about what he’s really been up to all these years. And if he manages to win the girl in the process, he wouldn’t be at all sorry. This story features a hero with something to hide, a heroine with plenty to lose and a plan that involves unlikely allies, a touch of cloak and dagger, and a whole lot of luck. Author’s A Capacity for Falling in Love is Book 3 in the Falling in Love Series, but it can be read as a standalone and has a guaranteed HEA and no cliffhanger. if you like dual POV, he falls first, virgin heroines, witty banter and lots of steam, you may love this book.

I am an art lover which was almost a character within itself in thos book when it came to character development. We have my favourite trope of enemies to lovers, his a lawyer and she is a painter and designer who has been bought in to refurbish the offices our mfc works at. Our hot and handsome lawyer Nick is the grumpy to the stunningly gorgeous Sunshine that is Lulu. We get a duel pov and the banter and flirting doesn't take long to erupt into some spice. When is a one night stand ever really a one night stand??? With character and plot development, we follow the relationship between these two characters and the life decisions they have to make. I absolutely loved the writing and all the referees to my fav movie, tv shows and books etc. This book gave me all the feels from laughing put loud to shouting at the characters.

I had heard so much praise for this book as well as th TV series. All I knew going in was that it was YA and a great summer read.

First of all I did like this book and read it in one 7 hour session. It is definitely a straight YA romance. Think puberty blues or even looking for alibrandi. Belly is the main fmc and our narrator who is a very nieve teen trying to discover love, lust and identity. It's Summer time and the main characters are her brother and their 2 friends( both boys) and their mothers. There is the likeable Cam the summer fling and Taylor ther best friend of belly ( who is not so likeable). We flip back and forth from the present to previous summers to help build the characters personalities and history.

I feel like if I had have read this as a teen I would have loved it. However, as a mid 30's adult I found it a very easy, nieve and coming of age story. I would definitely recommend it for teenagers who are looking at getting into reading and romance books.

I had heard so much hype about this book, thus had high expectations.  Where they met???? NO, not really. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it. Why didn't it hit the mark for me???

It was slow. So, very very slow. If this hadn't had been a buddy read or had a second book that everyone said was better than this one I probably would have dnf. I am glad I didn't though. I am glad I'm persisted. Fro. About half way through the pace picked up and I really enjoyed it.

I wasn't a huge fan of the mmc Julian ( he was a bit boring if I'm honest). I did like his character development, which was definitely enhanced by the fmc Hallie and his sister Natalie.

There were some great scenes between Julian and Natalie as we got to see the friendship and relationship build. It was a strangers to friends to lovers (with a touch of second chance ). They had gone to school together and both had a silent crush on each other. There was a near kiss and then nothing until we meet them in adulthood.

I love gardening, so enjoyed that aspect of the book. The spice was OK, but didn't bowl me over.

Over all it was a good book. Let's hope book 2 is even better.

I was so excited for this book after finishing the Twisted series and loving all of those books. This book didn't disappoint.  I cried in the last 2 chapters. I rode the roller-coaster that is a romance novel, and I really just wanted to devour it in one go.

Blake was a sweetheart and a gorgeous mmc, who had his faults.  The fmc was trying to figure her way through life and love and school. This had the virgin fmc trope, which to be honest I'm not really a fan of. However,  Ana delt with is beautifully. It really was a will they? Won't they? Plot.
The whole friendship group gave a lot to the main plot as well as the development of the two mc. Each character was completely different, yet blended well together.

Due to the virgin trope there wasn't a huge amount of spice and not at all raunchy. There was enough, to keep me interested and engaged.

I look forward to book 2 (and hopefully the development of Blake and Farrah).

Where do I start???? I love Tessa Bailey, I loved Chase me and Need Me was good. I have no idea what happened when she wrote this book. It had so much potential. We had snippets of what Abby and Russell were like in the first 2 books and even some angst between them.
I wanted to throw this book at the wall so many times. I got so frustrated at the mmc that I had to put the book down and go do something else. He was whingy, whiney and I couldn't stand him. There were no redeeming features for him. Thankfully, I did like the fmc Abby. She had some Sass to her and wasn't a complete idiot. However when I finished the book I was like what on earth did you see in him????
The spice scenes were cringy and not well written (not at all like the author). It really was like she had given up on this book and didn't care. I guess there has to be something to be said for the writing in the I hated the mmc so much 🤷‍♀️

This is one of my favourite series out there. I mean it's got cowboys, family, small town and a Grumpy sunshine romance. It doesn't get any better than that for me (oh. Did i me tion a dash of ive hockey???).

In this book, we get to know Jasper ( the unofficial brother of the family) and the cousin of the boys, Sloan. They have secretly had a crush on each other since childhood and after many years apart have to get to know the adult versions of each other.

We get the amazing supporting cast from previous books and the banter and wit we are use to. All in the backdrop of the gorgeous Chestnut Springs. With a mix of a road trip thrown in the mix.

I loved it. I loved the characters and their development,  I love the world they live in and I loved their story.
