This is the ultimate summer, vacation/holiday, beach read. Light, fun, and funny. This was a buddy read that I may have accidentally read in one sitting. The characters are 100% loveable and I ended up really caring about them. I may have even told the mmc at one point that he was being a 'you know what' and was going to brake her heart. Poor Olivia though, that woman really needed something good to happen to her, with all the bad luck she runs into. The banter and flirting was spot on as was the πΆπΆ. With the best friends little sister in his sights what could wrong for the hot and steamy Colin? Right?? The dynamics between Olivia and Colin was fantastic. A really enjoyable read.

I had very high expectations for this book and it didn't let me down. It had me hooked from the get go. The writing and the characters had me all in. The character development was fantastic and the plot fast paced. With the brothers best friend and billionaire tropes it gave a bit of a twist to a college romance. There was crime and revenge along with a very morally grey mmc (which I loved). There was the perfect amount of spice for me in balance with plot. The supporting characters really gave the mmc and fmc real depth. I really didn't expect the ending we got which I loved. It had twists and turns and people weren't who you thought. I am so excited to read twisted games.

This book was not at all what I expected ( but in a good way). I was drawn in from the start and it kept me hooked the whole way through. I cared about the characters and fell in love with them all. I shouted at them and I cried with them. I was devastated in parts and I was thrilled in parts. It was beautifully written, fast paced and had so many twists and turns. The ending left me wanting more.
I can't say too much more without giving away spoilers. Safe to say if you like romance, royalty, rebellion, fighting, magic and hierarchy you will love this book. It is YA so no spice here, but I didn't miss it as there was enough romance and banter/flirting.

This was a last minute buddy read, as I have been keen to read this for a while. Why did I wait so long???
I absolutely loved this book, I loved everything about it. The plot development, the character development, the tropes, the writing, I loved it all. It was a great exploration of true love and what this looks like and what it really means? With an old love and a new love, how do you choose between two true loves? The supporting cast were just as loveable as the fmc and mmc. They were just as pivotal to the character and plot development. I cried, I laughed and felt all the feels and went on the roller-coaster of emotions with the characters.
I read this in one sitting and it's easily the best of the TJR books I have read.

This was my first Lynn Painter book and I absolutely loved it. I hadn't really read anything with this sort of story either. Yes it was a straight romance and YA but it was different. I fell in love with the characters and was completely drawn in by them. I felt the roller-coaster of emotions that Emilie went through and rooted for her to get her happy ending. It was a happy ever after, however I really wanted them all to have that. The exploration of happiness, identity, and a broken family were all at the forefront of this beautifully writen book. I was laughing out loud and then shouting at the characters. It was an easy and enjoyable read

I am totally in love with this whole series, and I was very intrigued by John Tucker. Needless to say this book didn't disappoint. I don't love Tuck as much as I do Dean or Garett but he was still a sweetheart. His and Sabrina's story was just gorgeous and shows how life doesn't always go according to plan. With a surprise pregnancy, Tuck and Sabrina navigate their friendship, which turns to more as they figure out life with a pregnancy and baby. They also have to do this with a very small support network and alot of negativity thrown at them. Sabrina for the first time faces life without control or certainty, but with the support of the gorgeous Tucker never has to face it alone. We still have the gorgeous friendship group that is Garett, Logan and Dean (and girfriends). The banter and flirting doesn't falter and the writing is still fantastic.
I can't wait to read The Legacy and then move to the Briar U series.
