Yet again, this small town romance by Devney Perry was knocked out of the park. We discover more about the gorgeous Eloise and the dashing Jasper. With a Vegas Wedding and a continued fake marriage, we discover what makes these two tick and what secrets they are hiding. With their fake marriage they soon come to realise their attraction to one another. With the supporting cast as spectacular as always, we continue to fall in love with the Eden family and the town of Quincy.
I devoted this fabulous book in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down. I love this town and the people with in and can't get enough of them.

As with the first two books, I absolutely loved this one. I wish I could move to Quincy and be part of the Eden family. We got to see Griffin and Know again as well as Winslow and Memphis and all the kids. We also spend more time with Eloise and Lyla as well as their parents. This time, we follow Talia and Foster as they navigate their second chance at a life together. Discovering the truth of their past and finding out who they are now. I loved the UFC parts of this book too as that is a sport I'm interested in. There was a good amount of spice as with all the Eden books. There was great character and plot development with all these loveable characters. We even have a trip to Vegas whilst still being mainly based in Quincy. Talia battles with what her professional life as well as her personal and what they looks like in the town you grew up in. Alongside Foster, who just wants Talia to give him a second chance and is willing to do whatever it takes to do so. If you love a small town romance with twists and turns, spice, and all the feels, you have to read this book.

This is a YA fantasy romance novel that hit all the right notes. It has world building, magic, humans vs magic, royalty, trial and fighting with a tough of romance ( 0 spice). It has the feel of hunger games meets Harry Potter with a touch of The Maze Runner. The fmc Paedyn Gray has to explore revenge, politics, identity, friendship, and romance all as she is trying to keep herself alive. As she gets to know Kai (the prince of Ilya) they develop a romance and friendship that gets tested at every turn.  Along side this Paedyn is building a friendship with his brother Kitt and has to decide what is more important, friendship,  loyalty or revenge?  This beautifully written book is full of deception, relationships, friendship, trust, love, lust, revenge and identity. There are some gorgeous quotes from the very morally grey Kai. However,  there are also many lessons that can be learnt about strength, courage, bravery and doing what you need to do to survive.

Here we go.

It has taken me a full day to process what I just read. This (in my opinion) is the best of all the 5 ACOTAR books. It has everything you could possibly want from a book. It has family, friendship, romance, flirting, banter, bat boys, humour, spice (lots of spice), high fae, fighting,  magic, treasure hunt, suspense, plot and character development. You name it this book has it. She is a big girl at 750 pages, but you get so lost in the world of Velaris and the surrounding courts that it doesn't even feel like 750 pages. I shouted, I cried, I wanted my own bat boy and a desk (spice), I gasped, I fell in love with new characters and I rode the emotional roller coaster . I never understood why everyone loved Nesta so much, now I love her too. I always loved Cass and now if it's even possible I love him more. For me he is the ultimate bat boy ( sorry Rhys, I love you but  I love Cass more)

I finished this book and cried for a good 5 min after as I held it to my chest. Then I stared I to space not knowing what to do with my life.

There are not enough words to describe how much I LOVE this book. If I could give it a 10 out of 5 I would. Safe to say, I'm in book hangover made.

I'm not ready to give up these characters and the world they inhabit.

I had no idea what to expect from this book, all I hoped was it lived up to the hype. I can confirm, it does. I absolutely was all in from the get go. The story, the characters, had me hooked from the start. I did find the fmc slightly annoying throughout, but I still liked her. It had me guessing the whole way though, and although I guessed part of the ending, I still got some surprises.
It had suspense,  tension, intrigue and the slightest touch of romance. I felt like I was the detective along with the fmc Pip and her partner in crime Ravi. I was theorising along with them, with twists and turns along the way.
It was brilliantly written and I can not wait to read book 2.

I have had this book on my tbr for so long. If I'm honest, I loved the sound of the plot, but the cover never really grabbed me. I know, I know, don't judge a book by its cover. Although I do have to say that after months of having it, the cover grew on me.

I went in only knowing that it was a small town cowboy romance. I saw a buddy read had just started, and I was like, right, I'm in. Well. I finished it in pretty much one sitting. I couldn't put it down. I instantly fell in love with the characters, the town, and the writing.

And let me just say this, if you like spice, enemies to friends to lovers, best friends little sister with a dash of cowboy. You will LOVE this. If you like the Edens by devney perry or Chestnut Springs by Elsie Silver, you will LOVE this.

It was easy to read and gave me all the feels. I was so sad when it was over. Now we have to wait until march/April next year for book 2.

If you haven't read this, you have to.

This is a hard one to retire as it sits at 130ish pages and sets up for the first book of the series. We are introduced to a cast of characters, who attend a murder mystery party. There are some clever things that happen along the way to add in some thriller suspense. As we fly through this little book we learn about the characters, their relations to each other as well as a 'real' murder that has happened in the village in previous years.it definitely leaves you wanting to know more, leaves many questions unanswered and wanting to know more about the characters we have met. It was fun, had suspense and left me happy that I read it.

I really enjoyed it and am excited to read A Girl's guide to murder (as a buddy read) next week.

As I said this was a really hard one to give a star rating.

Thank you to @simonschusterau for gifting this book in return for an honest review.

Emma is my favourite of all of Jane Austen's books. I have read it multiple times and can recite the 1990's film word for word. It is frequently quoted in my family. I also have seen Clueless countless times too. So, as soon as I found out about this book, I had to get a copy.

I went in telling myself to keep an open mind, its a retelling, but also nervous. Will they do Emma justice??? OMG!!!! They 100% did her and Knightly justice. I also don't care what anyone says I LOVE Knightly way more than Darcy. I should add I can't stand the latest film remake ( I couldn't even watch all the preview).

This was a fun, light and entertaining and modern version of Emma. It had me laughing out loud and even had some spice (unlike the original). I loved how Audrey and Emily followed the storyline faithfully and not really messing with it (apart from modernising). If I didn't know the story of Emma or wasn't a Jane Austen fan, I would have just thought this was a fun and witty romcom with friends to lovers story.

There for as a major Emma lover and a lover of romcoms. I highly recommend this book.
