thank you to kat singleton for writing a man who knows how to communicate!!! i really thought she was going to hit me with this horrific conflict because of a miscommunication, but this man just straight up told winnie what was going on in his head and what was happening, and she was like, okay, what are we going to do about that? I LOVE IT 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

if you like grumpy, possessive mmcs who are obsessed with their girl, this is a rec for you. he's a billionaire, ex-boyfriend's brother and the spice is immaculate, go read.

i had fun reading this but i will say the second half of this book was incredibly chaotic and way too stressful. the first half was genuinely good though, really liked it.

a romance book about two serial killers? say less 🤭
not only is this one of my new favorite books, but this is also the best duet narration i've ever listened to. hands down the best audiobook experience i've ever had. the narrators are fantastic and the editing, with the way they sometimes talk over each other, is just so perfect!!
there's tension and yearning and simmering desire. there's also blood and gore and death and it's flipping hysterical! and when the spice hits... hooo boy 😮💨

this wasn’t for me. i finished this book 5min ago and couldn't tell you what happened and what the premise of the plot was. by the end i kinda just went sure okay, this is what’s happening then…
i'm also not vibing with the third person narration. it's like a consistent reminder that i'm not quite connecting with the characters. it's just not my cup of tea.
anyway, i wouldn't bother with this.
