More fun to read than books 2 and 3

mostly thanks to the addition of seth and leah clearwater, and the international vampire crews. Please I would read an entire novel about the two ancient romanian vampire dudes I love them. Ruined by Jacob falling in love with an infant and we all have to pretend that its fine and not grooming

So... I had a great time with my twilight re-read and have no regrets. The first 300 pages of this book held up really well? Simple and awkward and very YA for sure but the banter was fun and I love my problematic fav Charlie what can I say. The last 200 pages things really get off the rails for me as an adult who's been to a lot of therapy and can recognize unhealthy relationship dynamics. Also how was this book fully 30% Bella tripping and falling over things and 20% cooking meals for Charlie?

Not as strong as the prequels for me. It felt like the book was trying to do too kuch and it was hard to follow and keep everything straight, even as someone who has watched the netflix show. I really love Ciri and her endless wit and stubbornness as well as the training with yen and at kaer morhen though. So much personality shines through in those scenes
