Did not finish book. Stopped at 65%.
I’ve kind of been in a reading slump, but I also have been really struggling to get through this story. The multiple POV’s and not knowing who is telling the story. The insane amount of extra details that just aren’t necessary. It really distracts me from what is even going on. I know I’ve made it so far in the book but idk.. I would like to move onto something else.

Our school district gave the students this book to read so my daughter and I read it together.
It was such a cute story. I really love the autism representation in the main character and being able to understand how he views the world differently than someone who isn’t neurodivergent. Also, love that Bat’s mom is a vet. I really enjoyed reading this with my kiddo!

The humor was on point. There’s no telling how many highlights/notes I took on things that actually made me LOL. I wish I was more like Indiana. The whole book was so accurate for what it’s like for women in the workforce. I tell my husband allll the time that if I acted the way he does, I would have been fired by now. Ugh I loved this book. It was so light hearted and silly, I really needed it.
