Great start to a new series to me. Starts very Throne of Glass esque but slowly develops into something darker and more intriguing.

I think the world is so interesting and the lore intriguing but most of the book is very internal on the relationship of our main characters. It feels like all plot is put to the back burner until 90% of the way into the book then it all concluded very fast. I did enjoy the story overall but some spelling and grammar issues also pulled me out of the story. I would try some of her other works as some characters in this book have their own stories.

Ofelia just wants to be alone on her planet when they announce they can't stay. After building a life for 40 years she runs on the day she is due to leave. But a chance communication shows she is not alone on the planet. Interesting book and Ofelia is a very relatable heroine of a book. She is resilient and smart in her own way. It hit hard at some points.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 61%.

Interesting concept until it became a smut fest.
