One-Timer by Teagan Hunter

Back with another book in the Carolina Comets series and I was so excited to read! Hollis and Lowell don't get the best first impressions of each other but the chemistry is there. Hollis is fresh off a divorce from her cheating ex and Lowell has spent his whole life focused on hockey, nothing else. They spend one night together and go their separate ways, but they both can't stop thinking about each other. And of course, fate decides to throw them back together. I know everyone loves to hate on the pregnancy or surprise baby trope but personally I love it! And I think Teagan Hunter did it so well in One-Timer, highly recommend! Already counting down the days until Sin Bin... Thank you Teagan and Valentine PR for the ARC!

When Arianna Michealson is left in a difficult situation, she turns to Zayn Villeti, mafia prince, to help her. Zayn finds his life to be stale and boring. When Ari storms into his life, he decides to make her his little pet. These two have the world against them but their chemistry is instant and their connection only grows from there.

Sarah Bailey absolutely delivered with Daddy Zayn and his little fairy in Tyrant! I kept highlighting quote after quote while reading because Zayn's mouth just kept giving all the dirty words. Love the banter, the spice, the plot, the representation in this book, it was all amazing! Excited to see what other books we get in the Villeti Chronicles because I know they'll be just as good. Thank you Sarah Bailey for the ARC!

Sophie Lark does it again! Sasha returns home after being away for medical school for several years. She instantly realizes something is very wrong with her family and their business. Sasha ends up making a deal with a Bravata boss to serve as their personal doctor in order to set the rest of her family free from their debt. Snow's whole world is boxing. And when he's given the chance to complete in a tournament with a large cash prize, he knows this is his best chance to leave Russia. Sasha and Snow meet through the the boxing tournament and the chemistry between them is instant! Even though they are complete opposites, I love that they're totally meant to be together. And Snow making the ultimate deal to try and save Sasha was so swoony! This books has lots of drama and suspense, one part left me in total shock in the best way possible (go Sasha). I loved the peek we get at Ivan and Sloane because those two are my favorites!
The Coppersmith Farmhouse by Devney Perry

Finally dove into my first Devney Perry read after hearing such amazing thinks about her books! And I was not disappointed at all! This is a sweet and suspenseful small town romance set in Montana. Gigi packs up her and her daughter to move to Prescott, Montana and start a new life. Her first week in town, she meets the town sheriff. She's attracted to him instantly but he doesn't make the best first impression. Jess is kind of a jerk throughout this book but personally I love a grumpy, possessive hero. Devney Perry does an amazing job at weaving in a bit of drama and suspense alongside the romance! I listened to the audiobook of this and I really enjoyed it, even through I'm not a huge audiobook person. Single parent romances are truly my jam and I loved this first book in the Jamison Valley series!
Lost in Paradise by J.A. Low

Paradise has been one of my top spicy book recs since I read it back in August and I've been counting down the days until book 2 in The Paradise Club series! Dropped everything to read Lost In Paradise when it came out and it did not disappoint! We got a peak of Ivy and Alex in book 1 and this book dives completely into their story. Honestly the whole concept of this series in unmatched, a resort where all your fantasies can come to life. Ivy is ready to let go of the old her and explore a new side of herself. Alex came to Paradise for some fun and to support his brother, but he doesn't expect anything serious to come from it. These two are instantly drawn to each other and the chemistry is HOT! I love how Alex encouraged Ivy to continue to explore the island and the new side of her she's discovering. He listens to her wants and needs and it's swoon worthy for sure. Ivy goes through a lot through this book but she comes out stronger and more sure of herself at the end. Cannot recommend this series enough if you're looking for SPICE!

I didn't know my love for a Sophie Lark mafia couple could pass my love for Aida and Callum, but Ivan and Sloane might have done just that. Sloane is an assassin and she's a good one too. She planned to take a break after her last hit but the money offered was too good to pass up. As the head of his family, Ivan Petrov is known for being hard and closed off to the world around him. But his world gets shaken up when an assassin shows up in his bedroom. These two are total powerhouses together! I love how quickly the spark hits between them and how their relationship blossomed from there. Mafia couples that work together to build an empire truly is my kryptonite! Quick read but so so good!

Back to the Trident Security Compound! Why did I stop reading this series?? It's SO spicy and every book has such a great plot. Loved seeing more of Mistress China and learning more about her character. Her and Mike together was just wow! The balance between them and their personalities was so good and I loved seeing their relationship develop. Will definitely be reading the rest of the books in the Trident world asap. If you're looking for a spicy and suspenseful series, this is it!

First read this book back in 2019 and decided to reread by listening to the audiobook. And I forgot how much I absolutely loved this book! Georgia Cummings is the director of marketing at Brooks Media. While her life is a little bit of a mess and she's almost always late, she's great at her job. Kline Brooks is a busy man as the founder and CEO of Brooks Media and he doesn't have much time for finding the one, even though his company runs a popular dating app. His world is turned upside down when he realizes just how amazing his director of marketing truly is. This book is hilarious, spicy and so dang good. Georgia and Kline are truly the perfect powerhouse business couple. Gives me similar vibes to The Miles High Club series so if you love that series, you'll definitely love this! Need to read the next book in this series asap.

I could probably write an entire essay on my thoughts and feelings about this book and series but I’m going to try and keep it somewhat brief. This series has been my absolute favorite small town romance series for the last few years and I had high hopes and expectations for what Levi’s story would be and how this series would wrap up. And Claire? She absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Levi and Annika got the love story they very much deserved. Levi as an uncle was so swoony and even more when he steps up to the plate with Annika’s child. Annika was so relatable, feeling like the peacemaker among her family as the youngest and the only girl. Their love story reminded me of Chase and Brynn, they knew what they had and it was more about getting everyone else on board. The feud continues to build throughout this book. Levi and Annika work to solve both the feud and the mystery of the Montgomery treasure before it’s too late. Every moment of this book was special and I read it entirely in one sitting because I could not put it down. I almost completely lost it when Gram gives out the last of the nicknames in this series. It was special, meaningful and I think the perfect ending to it all. This book was everything and the only reason I’m not completely broken is because I know the Haven series will be coming.

Claire, I can’t imagine the strength and perseverance it must have taken to finish this book through all that life threw at you this last year. It was beautiful, moving and honestly completely magical. I will be counting down the days until we return to Tilikum and find some women who will put up with these Haven boys. Thank you so much for the ARC!
Fearless by Tia Louise

Tia Louise is truly the queen of romantic suspense! Fearless is an enemies to lovers romance with lots of drama and tension. Hutch Winston is hired as a bodyguard to protect Blake van Hamilton, the woman he tries to keep his distance from. But this possessive alpha will do anything to protect her and the people she loves. Blake despises Hutch for sending her away years ago but he's her only hope. The chemistry between these two is off the charts instantly! Soooo many spicy moments, Tia just kept delivering! I was drawn into the plot and how all of the tension would be resolved. Love the found family aspect also. Thank you Tia for the ARC! I'm already counting down the days until Scar and Hana's book!
