A Promised Land by Barack Obama
Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.

i did actually enjoy most of the parts i read. the main issue i had was that this book was just so massive. i literally couldn't even hold it. this book has a lot of potential but obama goes into such detail and depth that i was genuinely falling asleep. a lot of interesting things happen in this book but i would've like it way more (and actually finished the book) if he kept it more to the point.

i love this series and i was really looking forward to this one. i was not prepared for the emotional depth this book had and i was going through it. this book was a wild rollercoaster. 

i resonated so much with stevie's mind as i have never not overthought every social interaction i had. on another note, i felt like the ending was so fast.

i did not like the way their reconnection played out. the idea was there but execution kinda missed. but also i wanted just a bit more grovelling!  some words were said but there definitely could've been more before they immediately started making out.

but aside from that, i did really enjoy this book overall
