Well, this book exemplifies perfectly the enemies to lovers concept.
That burning fire and heat we get that slowly starts to shift as their relationship starts to grow and when the lines beguin to blur and at one moment they don't really know if it's hate, love, passion or even how to name that enormous feeling.
I really enjoyed both characters, and it was really something seeing them evolve and grow. To learn whay they acted that way, and what made them change.
I guess big feelings can do that! Make us question our life choices and go forward to new and scary things.. like love.
The world building was spot on and I love the author's writing and I also loves the side characters!

This book was such a nice and pleasant surprise!
Being part of the health care system can make me extremely picky when reading medical romances (because they are sometimes completly innacurate)! This wasn't the case at all, on this one. It gives so many true concepts and experiences that it was nice to read.
This, added to the addictive story we have ahead of us makes this book a good gem!

Tiffany is a stong, independent woman that had to toughen up when she was a child, and make several had and wrong choices. Regardless, she made it trough and is in her dream job, being a Radiology resident and she is thriving. When Ethan arrives and starts being a part of her reality as her rival she feels threatened and builds her wall way up high. What she doesn't expect is him being the complete opposite of what she imagined him to be. And she surely dosn't expect that by being the most sweet and caring man, starts to breack those walls, one by one.
But as the walls crumble down she is afraid that he discovers her secrets and that she might loose him when the truth comes out.

Since the beguining we have the book in Tiffany's POV, but the dual timeline allows us to really understand what she went through as a child/teenager and gives us insight on why she acts the way she does. It explains her fears and is added to the present story perfectly.

Even though the book has a true ending and an HEA, there are so many questions lingering in the air... I trully want to read the next ones in this world to learn those answers.

Oops.., she did it again!!

This is once again the perfect story. I can't say enough that what Morgan writes I will binge anytime, anywhere as fast as I possibly can!

Ava is a oppinionated, sassy, stong and so very sttubborn woman, who knows what she wants and works hard to get it! Sometimes she can be infuriating too. She loves herself and is not afraid to show it! Even when she needs a little boost, she never goes down without a fight!

"Shoulders back, tits out, you got this bitch. You were bornn for great things."

When she wins the Miss Americana Paegent, by turning viral on social media, she gets to travel through the country and try to be a good influence to other people. But the paegent organizers don't approve of her winning and someone has plans to get her to lose her place.

Jamie works as a security bodyguard. He is grumpy, meticulous on the outside (but his soft interior... OMG!!! He is sweet, caring, devoted, protector, her best friend and number one fan and supporter - as usual with Morgan's male characters, he is perfection!!)

Ava is given a bodyguard (and babysitter..) to go through the pageant tour, and she realises that Jamie could not be more of her opposite.
While she is fun and spontaneous, he is rigid and a rule follower. He needs a plan, she breaks the rules.
And isn't it perfect when we see two polar opposites attract and fall in love?
Being in a prodegé /bodyguard does not help their situation, because of their working relationship romance is off the table, but how can they fight it?
Well, he tries (hard) to fight it. But clearly fails.

"She's giving me an ulcer," I say. "As she should. You need someone to keep you from becoming the most boring person on the planet."

First he fights to admit he finds her attractive. Then that he likes spending time with her. Then that he likes her. And then that he loves her. We can 100÷ tell that he fails all those trials. Because he falls, and he falls hard!

"They clearly don’t know you at all. Because they’d know how stubborn you are" he says (....) "And because if they knew you, they wouldn’t be trying to change you, Ava. You’re perfect the way you are."

This is going to be another favorite series, and it was the perfect start!
I can't wait to see whats next in line!

I trully loved this book!
The story captivated me from me start, both by the story itself, and by the main characters personalities. The author made both characters so relatable and perfectly imperfect and flawed, that she was spot on!
This book can make us swoon, laugh out loud, cry, get mad and feel so many emotions that we have a little bit of everything just to make us feel all of it!
I can say that I sure wasn't expecting some of the twists, but they were perfect fot this plot, and I was pleaseantly surprised with all of them.
The side characters added the perfect seasoning and left me wondering whose story we are going to get next!

This was a nice light read, and Bella and Gabo's story was trully enjoyable.
We meet Bella, a young artist that right after leaving college and choosing her path, decides to take upon her brother's best friend offer and go into Italy to get inspired.
She stays with Gabo, and very slowly she starts to grow feelings for the billionaire. He is all in from the start and givea all the possessive vibes, but she is more cautious. With time she gives in to her feelings.

Holy f***ing hell!!! I can't really say what's going through my mind right now, except that.... how could the author leave us hanging with THAT ending! Come on... I need to know what happens! 😵😵

I kept going and going because this story jept getting jucier with the page turning, and I knew it was going to be a blasting ending, but this I did never expect. It had me gaping kind of like a fish (so not pretty, really).

So, in this story we can meet Rachel and Dante.
Rachel is a survivor, having excaped a huge and disturbing past, and is hidding from it.
Dante is a biker, and a tempered oe, that after seeing Rachel, decides to claim her as his Old Lady (not in the best way)!
He is a morally grey men, and in the beggining thinks of her as sweet and innocent. And really quickly realises that she is just as twisted as he is and they are a complete match for each other.
They have this love-hate relationship and each one is more sttubborn than the other.
It was funny and at the same time sexy and infuriating seeing their interactions.
Half of the book I rooted for Rachel and her sharp tongue to get to Dante, and the other half was rooting for him to give as good as he got!
We could see that he fell for her firt, but all those egos got in the way, and the miscomunication between them won for a while, and I kept wanting to see a little bit of love between them (I know, I know.. it's a dark romance, but it is still a romance and I wanted them head over heels for one another!)
When we believe some peace has arrived, one danger (from the inside) arises and all comes crumbling down just as she realises how much he cares and how much he keeps doing for her.

"But if you give me the chance, I will treat you as an equal. I will be selfish for you. I will be cruel and vindictive for you, instead of against you. Give yourself the chance to accept this life, and you’ll see that I will happily set the world on fire and laugh as it burns, all for you"

And then THAT ENDING! 🤯🤯🤯
Well, nothing to be done now but wait. But I'll be reading the rest of Rachel's and Dante's story the minute it comes out to us!

This was a little perfect second chance romance where all the character's feelings are still pretty raw and alive and where we have a male character that could not be more perfect! Come on.. Cord was caring, protective, funny, understanding, a tiny jealous, friendly, gorgeous, and so on and on and on!
Macy was feisty as hell, and she could back her own against anyone. But sometimes she could come out as a little immature, but I get that it was a way to protect herself and act with an "I don't give a f**k" atitute. Still, it was all an act, and she did care. Actually, she cared too much.
She had a rough past, and was used to being alone and doing things on her own. It was for the best to let all those walls grow and protect her heart.
In the story we can see Cord trying to break down all the walls Macy's has, with all his love for her. He has a lot of support from his family (and let me tell you that his father could be one of the character in one of the books, because he was top notch! I would read his story as soon as it came out! - what an amazing side character!)
Inch by inch, he gets through to her and not only gets her to love and learn to be loved, but also helps her to heal!

This book relates kind of a winter cozy vibe and it's a very easy sweet read for a rainy day!
It tells the story about Evie and Jamie, and their second chance at love.
They are connected by theis siblings, and have been friends since forever. Things start to change and Jamie accepts a job offer away from their small town and breaks up what is just beginning between them. The story actually starts 6 months later when he returns home, with a lot of regrets, and determined to win Evie back. She is hurt, and disaponted, but can't stop her feelings for him.
They have a perfect set of matchmakers, Sean and Jessica (their siblings and best friends) that use their wedding plans to try to get them together in this chistmas time.
It was sweet to see all the connection  between characters, but I felt that sometimes the story revolved around Jessica and Sean's wedding, and their actions and meddling and it missed some overfocusing on the new main characters, their jobs, their interests, their life.
With their fellings growing and not dormant after his return home, they allow themselves to take a new chance at love and to trusting each other.
I really like the chaos at the epilogue.. :)

This book was such a cozy paranormal story.
I'm kind of a sucker for a good enemies to lovers story, so this one made my day!
Lucinda is a witch, and is about to be nominated to replace her mother as head of the coven. But, as she soon realises this, things backfire. Thanks to a prank gone too far, she ends not only risking her place, but almost bounded to Benedict, her nemesis.
Benedict is also a witch, who has had some tragedy in his life, and mostly due to hard work made his life in his small town. He is caught by surprise by the need to be bound with lucinda, but as we soon come to understand, he is not so upset as she is.
After this 'sentence' Lucinda's family make a potion/spell to try and help her by showing her true love, and that ends up not only switching her powers but getting her closer to Benedict. So  they must learn to tolerate each other and work together to avoid disaster.
They are enemies who throughout the book (and not instantly) become friends and lovers. They grow into loving each other (or maybe discover that they had some supressed feelings all along, that they ignored most of their lives)!
The banter between them is awsome, and all the little misfortunes and bumps on their road are well thought and make this story jucier.
I'll be waiting for the next one in this series!!

I really liked both main characters. Allie is as scientist working hard to prove herself to the the world. She is on the verge of a major walkthrough, and is trying her best to achieve it in the small amount of time she still has.
Hudson is an Actor, and a famous one. But he has been having similar roles during his career and the studio cancels his next film. His agent has an idea: he can try once again, but now in a major role of a scientist. There is only one problem.. he has dyslexia (and keeps it secret) and thinks he will never make it.
He is sent to Allie's facilities to learn all he has to about Astronomy, and there's where they meet.
At first things are a little rocky, mainly because of some misunderstanding, but the atraction is there.
Throughout his stay, they get to know one another, he meets her family (and likes them) and they fall in love.
But there are secrets that can tear one's foundation appart, and how will Allie take them? Can she forgive ou forget (and even understand)? Can Hudson overcome his fear of being even more exposed?
Well, I advise you to read and find out!
It's a good story, well written, and good for us nerdy ones.
It also shows us that our prejudices can sometimes take advantadge, and some previous misconceptions are untrue sometimes.
