Thank you to the Publisher and NetGalley for the ALC! This book was a fun and quick listen. I liked how much we see Cassidy grow and find what she wants in life throughout the story. I never read Big Fan, and maybe I would have liked this more if I had more of Cassidy's backstory from that book, or maybe not who knows. I did not believe the romance was more than physical for most of the book, mostly because there is a history of animosity and miscommunication between Leon and Cassidy.  Overall, it was the perfect length for the story the author wanted to tell and felt real.

This is the second Cara Bastone book I have read. I love her writing style, especially the similes and metaphors she uses to describe our characters' thoughts and feelings. I teared up several times throughout reading this book. It tackles themes of grief beautifully and thoughtfully. I did not have that five-star feeling, but I would highly recommend this to those who can handle the tough topics.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publish for a review copy. This book should be called Brynn and Kelly Hate Each Other. The main character Brynn pissed me off so badly, she swears she's not a mean girl but everything she does is the antithesis of being a nice person. And we are supposed to believe this is all because she had a terrible mom. Like girl grow up, please. I liked Seb a lot, he was kind and down to earth and deserves better than her. Also there are a LOT of pop culture/news references so if that's not your thing, you should skip this one.

I do enjoy a marriage of convenience from time to time, but oh my god, just talk to each other about your feelings. You are full-grown adults and have known each other for years at this point. The work plot was super boring to me, and was also solved very easily. Overall, I had fun seeing the conclusion to the series and seeing more of the main characters from the other books.

This was just fine. I loved the art style; my issues with this were all with the story. This was super rushed and was left open-ended. I think this must have been originally plotted as a series, but here we are. There are many other graphic novels about witches that are much better than this one.

I enjoyed the writing style and will be reading more from this author, but I strongly disliked the main male character. Being in his head and hearing his thoughts about women was its own form of torture. I loved Stevie and watching her find her confidence over the course of the story.

This was a great wrap-up to the series. Dusty, they could never make me hate your slutty little crop tops, nose ring and tattoos.

I really enjoyed this, and it made me want to read more from this author! This was a great summer read, the small town of Spunes was cute and cozy. I will say, the third act breakup was quite annoying but I am a certified third act breakup HATER.
