This book actually made me cry like a little baby. The detail Joanna is able to portray is so amazing. She writes mundane scenes super drawn out and slow with so much detail you truly are there, but then every traumatic or sad event happens within a singular paragraph. It's such a unique choice but one that really hit me hard. Growing up with these characters was such a delight and I have a feeling I will miss them terribly. I will absolutely be reading whatever Joanna releases next.
