Colt and Ash have an undeniable bond, which is very evident from the first moment they see each other.

I really liked the chemistry between Colt and Ash and the respect they both had towards her otherwise shitty relationship. Even though it was clear they wanted each other, neither of them would cross that line while she was still in the relationship with Logan. It was a really cute, heartfelt romance story.

A good palate cleanser story. A very fast read. I don't really have anything negative to say, it just didn't knock my socks off and I probably wouldn't read it again.

I liked the first 50% of the book. Sienna and Keller's back stories, their chemistry, their spice. It was amazing and I loved it. However, around the 60%-ish mark, It fell off. I needed to talk myself into finishing it since I was already this far. Some scenes didn't make sense to me. There were a lot of plot holes at the end that were never really brought up again. The ending felt very forced to give them their happy ever after. I feel like it was rushed at the end, and did not make sense at all with the way they were feeling. I wanted to love this book, and I did for the first half. However,  I did not love it in the second half.

Molly became so strong from the traumas that she endured. She did not let that stop her, rather, fuel her need to freate the life she wants to live. She did what was best for her sister, even though it completely shattered her own heart.

H.D. Carlton really knows how to pull on all the heart strings while giving us all the smutty pleasures we could desire.

Go into this story knowing it is not going to follow real-life laws. It will be much better for you. At no point did i know where this story was going. I thought i had it figured out. I did not. I did not think outside the box enough. I do not think this story needs a sequel. I think it ended exactly as best it could have.

I really enjoyed this story! I feel like i may be in the minority here. However, i did not get upset at all of the things that "dont make sense" due to the real world. It is fiction. Laws and procedures are fiction in this story, too. It's okay.

Assistant to The Villain is about a sunshine-y Evie Sage who finds herself the assistant to The Villain. She isn’t sure how she feels about it at first, especially witnessing how gruesome The Villain can be. However, she finds herself realizing all of the good in the Villain, even if he will never show it to everyone else.

I am realizing now, that I am apparently in the minority. But I really enjoyed the humor in this story. The bickering between Evie and The Villain was hilarious to me. The angst and tension between them could have been better, and it definitely needed more action (more than one kiss please) since it is considered an adult book. I didn’t realize until after reading it that it isn’t a YA book.

I thought I had the book figured out, however, I did not. The ending kinda threw me for a loop, even though it was right in front of my face the entire time.

I disliked that it didn’t have the moment when they finally give into their feelings. I was waiting for that throughout the book. While I know that it can’t have had that with how the story ended and the continuation of the series. I was really looking forward to when they would give into themselves.

I’m not mad that it ended on a cliffhanger because I feel like a lot of things need to be brought together for a cohesive ending. But I’m kind of sad that I read it now and the 2nd book doesn’t come out until August.

Sydney is finding herself after losing her Twin brother. Her grief has overcome her and shes just coasting through life. She is holding some grudges, since her brother's passing and also trying to navigate the new normal for herself and her parents.

I really liked how Kelsie presented grief and the different stages a person goes through with their grief journey. How it's not linear and you can seem to be getting better but then something triggers it to go back to where you were. I feel like she handled this subject well and explained the emotions that Sydney was feeling. I cried 90% of the way through this book. While I didn't lose a twin or sibling, I am still on a grief journey for someone that was exceptionally close to me. And it's been ride, much like the ride that Sydney experienced.

I've tried to put into words why this isn't a 5 star read for me, and i really can't. It's a very well written YA Romance, It just maybe wasn't totally for ME. I give this a solid 3.5/5 stars because it was very well written and would help a pre-teen/teenager going through grief. However, as a 32 year old woman, it just didn't completely hit it for me. I wouldn't reach for it again, personally.

Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute follows Celine, an emo genius who is very socially awkward. Celine and Brad were best friends growing up and then suddenly had a falling out. Celine has a few friends and her TikTok following to keep her company in Brad’s absence, but it just doesn’t seem the same.

I liked how realistic Talia Hibbert made the characters. The thoughts and events that these characters go through are incredibly realistic and could help young adults going through the same thing to navigate their feelings and emotions. My favorite character was Brad. He had his own struggles and was oblivious to his feelings, which is very true-like to real-life teenage boys. I wouldn’t say that I was particularly surprised by anything in this story, it was kind of predictable. However, I don’t mind predictability, personally. I laughed so much during this book. Talia definitely has an amazing sense of humor. If you are into a sarcastic sense of humor, you will love this book!

I would say that this story is more for young adults who are learning about themselves, and I did not know that going into it. Which is entirely my fault. I did not research this book. But I did want to mention it in case young adult is not your jam.

Even though this story is for young adult readers, and I am not that, I would still rate this book a 5/5 because I think it would be excellent for young adult readers. Especially young readers of color.

Oh my goodness! I loved this story so much! It is such a good fluffy cozy romance. Youll laugh, cry, and even yell at some parts.

The Dead Romantics follows Florence, an author who is currently ghost-writing for another author. Her favorite author, Ann Nichols, asked her to be her ghost-writer. She starts by going to the publishing house office to meet her new editor, after the other editor retired.

I really loved how the characters felt realt to me. I was able to immerse myself into the story easily, and really get into it. My favorite character is actually Alice. She reminds me of myself the most, and i think thats why she's my favorite. I was texting my friend who had already read this book throughout me reading it trying to guess what was happening! Thankfully, she never spoiled it for me. So I'm not going to spoil it for you either!

The one thing that made me a little sad, is we didnt get a lot of time with them together at the end. I wish there was more to the ending to round out the rest of the story.

Overall, i really loved this book and can see myself picking it back up when i need a cozy love story. I think young readers would enjoy this story. Definitely recommend!
