A quirky little novel, Hot Air is definitely not going to be for everyone. It follows a random group of people thrown together due to happenstance over a few days, with increasing decisions made outside of social norms. Read it if you like weird books.

Had such a fun time reading this book about posh moms and the search for one of their missing sons. Similar vibes to Finlay Donovan but a little darker.
Ordinary Time: Lessons Learned While Staying Put by Annie B. Jones

Ordinary Time is hard to describe - it’s a bit memoir and a bit essay. Some sections resonated completely with me and had me highlighting multiple lines, while others were completely unrelatable to me and a little boring. Overall, it’s a cute short book about life as a bookseller and being content where you are.
Show Don't Tell by Curtis Sittenfeld

I love that short story collections often allow the stories to be a little more wild and unhinged - there’s less pressure to craft a story that can carry a whole book. This collection is full of fun and weird stories; my favorites were The Patron Saint of Middle Age and The Richest Babysitter in the World.

An entertaining essay collection leaning into dark humor, mainly about Scaachi’s divorce. Chocolate, Lime Juice, Ice Cream was my favorite essay and one that I think any millennial women (maybe all women) can relate to about the ways we & society hardly judge our bodies.
