Did not finish book. Stopped at 46%.
The narrators sounded like they were disconnected from the story and passionless.
The story’s transitions were abruptly which in some “scenes” gave me a sort of whiplash- kind of like story was being hurried along.

The intro says this book can be read as a stand alone but within the 1st 5min there are so many characters introduced and a quick explanation as to who they are and how they are connected.  I kept thinking I missed something because everything was mentioned quickly as if the story was picking up from where it left off. This should be read in a particular order. I do not like reading books out of order but I also do not want to get into a 15book series as the intro mentions - I just completed the 6 other books this is a spin off from.
