While I did appreciate the science aspects and the thriller of wondering what was happening, as soon as we realize what’s happening + the ending could have used a few more drafts. Liked the first half but I definitely don’t like the second half and end.

An overall enjoyable collection of short stories with a common theme of loss. The first story could have been left out, but the titular short story was engaging.

An interesting book from start to finish, with twists in every part. I was a little hesitant at saying I liked this book in the beginning, and only two of the characters are seemingly decent people, BUT this was a great story with fantastic Greek tragedy references. The psychological analyses seem sound to me, but I only have bare bones understanding of psychology. This is the second thriller book I've read this year and I'm starting to appreciate the genre more.

A telling and in-depth look at a woman I never knew existed and wish I could’ve known. Her work ethic, accomplishments, and connections led to me enjoying benefits that were unprecedented during her time but necessary for America’s survival. Thank you, Anna.
