I wish I'd read this book in one or two sittings, rather than stretched out. The writing is beautiful, and the descriptions and storytelling are very dreamlike. But that means the plot jumps around a lot from place to place, and I thought that was sometimes confusing when I'd set the book down for too long.

This book was a lot of fun, but there were some huge tonal swings from scene to scene. It was much more violent than I expected in some sections as well.

The romance of this book was very sweet, and I liked the growth arcs for both of the main characters. The kink stuff wasn't quite for me, but your mileage may vary.
