there was a lot of potential with this book but I felt the direction it went was more lazy as a continuation/explanation of parts of the other books and not a separate storyline to explore the two mcs. imo the call backs to previous books were disjointed and unsatisfying.

beautifully written and extremely hard to read at times with the mc trying to come to terms with her past and process her grief.

love the representation, but truly there is so little chemistry between everyone. the author is very descriptive and yet it feels like you threw a bunch of characters into a jar and shook them around.
