I found myself smiling all throughout this book. Also, the first line... hilarious.
The spice was spicing and the banter was very fun.

Kingfisher has this amazing ability to create an entire world in a small amount of time. This book is short but dense with a really interesting fairytale retelling. 10/10 would recommend

The beginning of this story was done beautifully. The magic system was interesting - very earthy and strange in the best way possible. I loved all the characters. Agnes is an absolute gem and the dust wife is hilarious. 10/10 would recommend. The writing is lovely and the story is enthralling.

Very good. I normally make multiple journal entries when reading a book and didn't make a single one this time because I was so engrossed in the story. Barnes has the great way of leaving the tiniest little crumbs that slowly build into a castle and I'm here for it.

I enjoyed this read. Avery is great and the mystery was well planned and executed. I was completely enthralled the entire time. I'm looking forward to continuing the story in the next book.

I enjoyed this! Had a few giggle moments and the ending made me cackle.
There were some times I wished for just a little bit more - during a big conflict I almost wanted it to make me cry but it just didn't quite reach the goal.
I also really liked the secondary couple and would have loved more of them.
Overall, I had a good time reading and will be reading the next book in the series.

Another cute Sapphic story. I also enjoyed getting to see a continuation of the love story from book 1.

This book brought me joy. I don't know how to fully describe but something about this book was comfortable. The ending was very cute and overall I enjoyed the experience.

Another slam dunk from Schellman! I can't say enough how much I love her writing style. I was alittle worried to start this book because I knew the premise - and the thought of someone being framed fills me with alot of anxiety so I was worried the book would really stress me out. But again, Schellman proves her writing is phenomenal and somehow makes what could be an incredibly uncomfortable situation enjoyable to read. Schellman is able to make the story so much more than just a mystery. I can't completely explain it, but her reads are fun and easy. I find myself enthralled without any feelings of intense stress, while still filled with anticipation for every new piece of information sprinkled on every page. 10/10 would recommend.
