I tried, but it wasn't working for me. The disjointed storytelling took it away from me.

It was cringe. I know people who talk like this, but in this case, it felt forced. Trying to hard. Pass.

The late John Lewis, having seen how awful humans can be, still had so much hope for us. He was a man who found strength in his faith, but did not push his faith on others. He found joy and hope in everything he did. That's a rarity indeed these days, and makes this well worth the read.
Having done the audio, the soothing voice of Don Cheadle delivers the message in a believable way. It's short, great for commuting, and wonderful. Take the 2 hours - you'll be glad you did.

This book was awesome! A fast read that cuts straight to the heart of it. And it helped me organize my thoughts to realize that I'm non-binary and have been for a long time. Saying it out loud felt amazing and so right!
