I haven’t laughed out loud at a book in ages. The banter of every character was on point. I can see why it’s labelled a cozy fantasy despite some of the gruesome elements. It’s all about the vibes. This felt like a more romantic focused D&D game.

I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the female being the “bad guy,” but it was done so well. She was still portrayed in a way that made her sympathetic in a dark way of course. Spice was also top notch.

A beautiful ending to an amazing story. It had everything I wanted and hoped for and more. I haven’t cried so many sad and happy tears in a while.
