This is definitely not a book I'd recommend to very easily influenced people but some parts are really interesting. Take some and leave some.

After hearing people talking about this book for so long I thought a lot more happened. It was a lot slower than I expected but it's still a great story with an important message.

My life with Picasso by Françoise Gilot, Carlton Lake

This is super well written! The forward was interesting, I learned a lot. It didn't blow me away so I'm not giving it 5 stars, but the stories are fascinating and there's a good amount of just incredible insults. Picasso was a controlling piece of work, but Françoise made it out!

There's good ideas in here but like any self help book you have to pick and choose what's realistic and what's not. If you're self employed I could see this completely changing the game, but if you have a more team/feedback based job it's not as helpful. I did get some good ideas out of it though.

One of the women in my book club described this as deserving of the Pulitzer and other awards it received, but not a fun/enjoyable read necessarily. It was a lot more literary than I normally read but I was glad to get out of my comfort zone. Definitely check the content warnings there's some truly upsetting stuff in here,  it I see why it's needed.

This was hands down the weirdest book I've ever read.
I wish there was a resolution or something for her turning into a dog, but it was interesting
it was fine, I kept reading to find out the ending which I didn't live but I also just might not be thinking deep enough to get it.

This is a really sweet heartwarming memoir. He definitely has tough times (and he calls a lot of people out which I liked) but it's not super depressing. If you're a fan of Tom you'll enjoy it.

I definitely enjoyed the story telling more than the story. It won me over by the end, but overall it's just ok.
