This is a great book for someone who is newly grieving but a lot of it also hit home to me. I will probably revisit this the next time I have fresh grief in my life.

I really enjoyed this. Maali has died and has to make his way through the afterlife while also trying to remember how he died and keep his friends safe. It was very good!

I was able to read an ARC of this. It was so fun! I loved every page of it. I loved how visual the writing was - I could see the action movie scenes (and this really would be an amazing movie— someone get them a deal!!) but I really loved the relationship building as well. So sweet, steamy, and lovely! Highly recommend!

The rating is probably more a reflection of me than the book. I had such a hard time reading this. There were so many people to try to keep track of and so many details. I just kept zoning out and couldn’t get into it. It sounded like a very interesting story but I just couldn’t follow.

This audiobook was so great. I loved that Julia Roberts reflected Lisa Marie’s voice and Riley Keough came in to share her reflections on her mother’s life and the clips from the tapes interspersed so you could hear Lisa Marie herself. Very well done!

I was about to read an ARC of this. The problem with Meryl Wilsner’s work is I can’t put their books down but I also don’t want them to end. I loved this one. Sweet and spicy and so wonderful. Loved it!

I was able to read an ARC of this. Gilmore Girls is my favorite show. I’ve watched every episode multiple times. I can quote it. So when I heard about this book of course I had to read it! I could see the scenes the author was describing. I loved seeing the show through so many different perspectives and thinking about the different ways it touched different people. Makes me want to watch it all again!

Cherry Jones is marvelous but it’s hard to hear what they thought about the native people whose land they were taking. Reflects the time, but still hard to listen to.
