I really enjoyed this one. I loved getting a story about a character where so little is known; it was refreshing. The book was exciting, fast-paced, and kept me drawn in. The darkness is well crafted, and the writing made me nearly sympathetic to a dark side character for the first time. Excellent!

A simple little story between TLJ & TROS. This story was lighthearted and fun!

So chilling. A fitting end to Phase 2! This book was such a treat, and I didn’t want it to end. Cavan, as always, did a fantastic job creating an enticing story for Star Wars readers. The character work, the pacing, and the action was very well done. Bravo!

This was probably one of my favorite junior books from The High Republic. The story felt important to the larger picture of what is happening in phase 2, and the characters were so enjoyable. Great junior novel.

This book was a phenomenal entry to The High Republic. I loved every second of it. The story moved fluidly through all of its sequences, and the characters were so genuine and thrilling to follow. The stakes were definitely raised in this book, and I am so glad it lived up to all the High Republic literature that has come before it. My personal experience was that this book kept me drawn in effortlessly and left me excited for more.

This book was a highly anticipated read of mine. I was disappointed in how it felt so surface level and how some of the characterizations did not feel organic.

The beginning of this book took a little while to draw me in, honestly. Once everything had been laid out, however, it was excellent. That twist at the end really shocked me and was one of the most exhilarating moments I've encountered in a book. The characters and the drama are all so incredibly well-written, too. Fantastic work.

I really enjoyed this one. Star Wars always does a great job with the production of their audio dramas. The action was so well-written and kept me tied in to the story! I felt that Mann did a wonderful job at allowing the reader to feel as if they are there among the characters.

I really enjoyed Revan. I've been hearing that I should read this book for ages, and the payoff was great once I actually got to it. The concept of Revan's characters is so complex and unique. I find the back-and-forth aspect really interesting. Finishing this book made me want to learn more about his character, so I can't wait to get to more stories about both his past and future. Excellent!
